   Concepts, principles, and the standards and regulatory frameworks underpinning a BCMS.

2. 2. Initiating the BCMS

   Organisational context, scope, leadership commitment and business continuity policy.

3. 3. Risk assessment and business impact analysis

   Identifying critical activities, dependencies, recovery time and recovery point objectives.

4. 4. Continuity strategies and plans

   Selecting strategies, documenting plans, and incident and emergency response.

5. 5. Performance evaluation and improvement

   Monitoring, internal audit, management review and continual improvement.

6. 6. Preparing for certification

   Evaluating documentation and capability, and preparing for the certification audit.

Exam and certification

Open-book written exam delivered online through PECB Exams. Duration: 3 hours.

Your fee includes your first exam attempt and one free retake within 12 months. After passing, you can apply for the relevant PECB credential.
